Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro called COVID-19 it "a little flu", and is continuously opposing the lockdowns of state governments and mayors.

This is in stark contrast with Argentina's president Alberto Fernández whose inauguration in December Bolso boycotted. Says Fernández: “You can recover from a drop in the GDP... but you can’t recover from death.”
